Deadline for certified mediators* on 31 August 2019!

Book individual supervision now to secure the title!
Since the legal ordinance for certified mediators (ZMediatAusbV) came into force on 1 September 2017, the protected title “Certified Mediator” or “Certified Mediator” has existed. This requires, among other things, a qualified training of at least 120 hours. For mediators who completed their training before the Mediation Act came into force on 26 July 2012, a transitional provision ensures that they can initially call themselves certified mediators with a 90-hour training period, as was customary for lawyers, for example. According to § 7 ZMediatAusbV, however, they must subject at least four of their mediation cases to an individual supervision by 31 August 2019 and be able to prove this by means of corresponding certificates. Otherwise, by 31 August 2019, they will lose the right to continue calling themselves “Certified Mediator”!
If you hold the title due to a 90-hour mediation training completed before 26 July 2012, it is high time! Dr. Imke Wulfmeyer, attorney at law, mediator (BAFM/BM), head of the mediation trainer at Consensus Campus and supervisor (Heidelberg Institute for Mediation) will be happy to give you a prompt appointment to supervise your mediation cases.
